It was in a spirit of mutual assistance that a group of Italians organized within the Village of Seneca Falls in November of 1904. Then, as now, members of the organization assist one another in every imaginable way.

Zita Dinner
To be held Thursday, May 22 beginning at 4:30 pm.
Team SMS will be sponsoring a zita dinner to benefit "Relay For Life". All proceeds to go to the Cancer Society Relay For Life Benefit. Cost will be $7.00 for adults. Children under 8 are free. Takeouts and delivery are available. We look forward to seeing you and thank you for your patronage.

From The President:

Where did the year go? Thanks to our core group of volunteers, 2007 was a success and now we get to do it again for 2008! Election of officers took place in December and for better or worse I’ll be president for another year. I would like to welcome John Russo as our sole new trustee. Also, Dave Bellomo decided to step down as Treasurer and Joe Perdicho was elected to assume those duties. I want to wholeheartedly thank Dave for all his years of dedicated service to the club. Installation of Officers occurred on January 19th and they are listed below. For the foreseeable future The Consiglio will continue to meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and regular member meetings will be held quarterly. There’s a lot to look forward to in the months ahead. Remember our departed members.

Auxiliary Cookbooks on Sale
The SMS Auxiliary has prepared their first cookbook which is on sale for $10. The book is filled with recipes provided by the Auxiliary members. There are plenty of old Italian recipes from our moms and grandmothers. Certainly this would make a great addition to your kitchen or as a gift for someone.
